Through our assessment process we seek to understand why the person engages in the specific challenging behavior. Following the assessment, an individualized program is developed to increase skills and replace the challenging behavior with an alternative replacement that is easier to exhibit, is socially acceptable, and produces the same or similar outcomes. Reduction in severe challenging behavior through skill-focused treatment allows a person to learn a new skill and contact social experiences that were once previously inhibited by the challenging behavior. We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free of challenging behavior.
With the four Cs as our guiding compass, our mission is to help improve the quality of life for as many people as possible with the science of human behavior. Through a compassionate lens, we approach each case with sensitivity and discretion.
